One dtp-point (abbreviated as pt) is the smallest unit of the American dtp-point typographical measurement system. To convert points to millimeter or millimeter to points press the convert button. Since the dtp-point system is an American one, always use the dot key [ . ] as decimal point (for example 1.25). Within the app, delete entries by using the clear button.

The dtp-point system is used in typography to measure type sizes, tracking, line spacing, columns, lines, areas, and lengths.
The dtp-point system is used in all professional layout and DTP software (for example Adobe InDesign ® or QuarkXPress ®).
“MilliPoint” is an app for DTP users that lets them easily convert points into millimeters or millimeters into points.
